stayed in buckfastleigh before and furzeleigh mill was a pleasant surprise, exceeded my expectations! staff were friendly and attentive, breakfasts were tasty and beds were comfortable. perfect location for exploring the dartmoor area and nearby attractions. would definitely return.

Bathroom taps were difficult to use.

The hotel is located in a beautiful area with stunning grounds. The staff at this hotel are incredibly friendly and attentive, going above and beyond to ensure guests have a great stay. The rooms are well-appointed, with comfortable beds and excellent showers. The breakfast options are fantastic, with special attention given to catering for vegetarians.

All was great, no complaints here!

We found a lovely seated area close to the railway where we could relax and enjoy the view. The South Devon railway is just a short walk away, making it convenient for train enthusiasts. The staff were incredible and provided excellent service throughout our stay. The breakfast options were delicious, with pancakes and spinach and poached eggs on toast being highlights. The provided dressing gowns made us feel cozy and at home in our room.

The bathroom was a bit small, but it didn't significantly impact our stay.

Secondly, the attention to detail is impressive – from the well-appointed rooms with their incredibly comfortable beds and lovely bathrooms, to the fluffy towels and delicious breakfast that caters exceptionally well for vegetarians. Finally, the staff at this hotel are top-notch, offering friendly and helpful service throughout our stay. All of this at a very reasonable price!

No grip in the shower.

We got great value for our money at Furzeleigh Mill. The room was small but tastefully decorated, with good quality towels and a nice thick bathmat. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel like part of the place during our 2-week stay while waiting for our house purchase to go through. The location was quiet and calm, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The restaurant served top-quality dinner and breakfast, with everything well thought out and the service being excellent. a lovely and comfortable place to stay.

Having Netflix available on both TVs was a pleasant surprise. The selection of teas, coffee, hot chocolate, and biscuits in the room was a nice treat. The location near the Polar Express train ride was perfect for our little girl.
