stayed in buckfastleigh before and furzeleigh mill was a pleasant surprise, exceeded my expectations! staff were friendly and attentive, breakfasts were tasty and beds were comfortable. perfect location for exploring the dartmoor area and nearby attractions. would definitely return.

Bathroom taps were difficult to use.

Not obvious to find.

The hotel is located in a beautiful area with stunning grounds. The staff at this hotel are incredibly friendly and attentive, going above and beyond to ensure guests have a great stay. The rooms are well-appointed, with comfortable beds and excellent showers. The breakfast options are fantastic, with special attention given to catering for vegetarians.

our recent stay in buckfastleigh at furzeleigh mill was even better than our previous visit. the helpful and pleasant staff went above and beyond, providing outstanding service and going out of their way to accommodate us. the food was delicious and the garden area was a lovely place to relax. highly recommended!

No grip in the shower.

We got great value for our money at Furzeleigh Mill. The room was small but tastefully decorated, with good quality towels and a nice thick bathmat. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel like part of the place during our 2-week stay while waiting for our house purchase to go through. The location was quiet and calm, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The restaurant served top-quality dinner and breakfast, with everything well thought out and the service being excellent. a lovely and comfortable place to stay.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming English inn nestled in the countryside. The decor of the rooms and restaurant was stylish, and the family room was well equipped with a separate space for the children. The breakfast, made from local produce, was delicious. The staff went above and beyond to make our Golden Wedding Anniversary celebration special, decorating our table beautifully. The location was convenient, with attractions like Buckfast Abbey and the Steam Railway within walking distance.

As a family with children, we loved the variety of alcoholic drinks and cocktails on tap at the bar. The separate room for our daughter with a TV and child-friendly movie was a great touch. Having Netflix available on both TVs was a pleasant surprise. The selection of teas, coffee, hot chocolate, and biscuits in the room was a nice treat. The location near the Polar Express train ride was perfect for our little girl.

Felt at home instantly, didn't find any reasons to complain.
