The curtains were not thick enough, letting in light from outside and making it difficult to sleep. We would have appreciated a vegetarian option on the breakfast menu as we are a vegetarian family. We found the room a bit small for four of us, but it was well-appointed. it was a nice stay, but just a few things could have made our Christmas stay much better.

The gardens at Gages Mill are beautiful, although we didn't have time to fully enjoy them. The lounge area was comfortable and we appreciated having access to books, maps, and information leaflets. The hosts, Kate and Nathan, were busy but still took the time to chat with us and ensure we were well taken care of.
