I had a fantastic stay at a lovely guest house. The hosts were warm and welcoming, making me feel like I was visiting friends. The breakfast was amazing and freshly cooked. The rooms were spotlessly clean and had plenty of tea available. The hosts were also very knowledgeable about the local area and events, and were always happy to help with any questions. The location was great, with the beach just a short walk away. The bed was comfortable and I couldn't hear any noise from the other rooms. The guest house also had a nice sitting area in the front. I highly recommend this place for a great stay.

I recently had a great stay at a guest house in the beautiful English Riviera. The accommodation was clean and comfortable, with modern and airy rooms. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the beach and close to all amenities. The service provided by the staff was exceptional, with Sue and Stuart going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. The breakfast offered a variety of options, including vegetarian sausages, and the freshly made fruit salad was a delightful bonus. I also appreciated the attention to detail, such as the excellent WiFi throughout the hotel.

Location was great, close to the beach and train stations making it easy to get around. The rooms were spacious and clean, with a good selection of waters and snacks to buy at a reasonable price. The breakfast was also quite good with a varied selection and the option of cooked or cereal.

There were a few issues during our stay. The bathroom was not properly cleaned with some areas looking quite dirty and old.

We had a fabulous stay at Gainsboro in Torquay. The couple running the hotel were incredibly friendly and served us a delicious cooked breakfast each day. The family room was clean and spacious, with a separate room for our children. We enjoyed watching the flat screen TVs in both rooms. The location was ideal, with attractions like Babbacombe model village and the Bygones Museum nearby. The Chelston Manor, just a short walk away, served amazing steaks. We also loved the rooftop bar with its stunning views of the marina. Highly recommended!

Recently stayed at the lovely Gainsboro in Torquay for a short trip. The owners provided a warm welcome and the room had all the amenities we needed, including a smart TV for entertainment. The breakfasts were superb, served with thick toast and delicious coffee. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the seafront and train station. Free WiFi and parking were also a great convenience. The hosts were knowledgeable about the area and offered helpful recommendations. a truly delightful stay that we highly recommend.
