We had an amazing stay at this charming cottage nestled on a hilltop. The location was perfect, with easy access to the city centre via a short bus ride. We loved the quaint and scenic surroundings, and there were even local takeaways nearby for convenience. The room and en suite shower were in excellent condition, with a comfortable bed and thoughtful touches like a two pin adapter and tissues. The hostess, Beverley, was incredibly welcoming and accommodating, making us feel right at home. The breakfast options were fantastic, including a delicious full English breakfast. We also enjoyed the cozy guest living room for relaxation. it was a delightful experience.

The lack of a mirror socket for using a hair dryer.

Parking can be a bit challenging on the narrow road.

We loved everything about our stay here. The cottage is beautiful and has lovely views. It's located in a quiet area, just a short bus ride away from the city center. The bus stop is only a 5-minute walk from the hotel. There is also a nice pub nearby, which is worth the 10-minute walk. The atmosphere in the pub is great, and the food is delicious. The staff, especially Beverley, were incredibly friendly and helpful. Our room with ensuite was clean and comfortable, with tea and coffee making facilities, including hot chocolate and biscuits. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, with a wide selection of cereals, fruit, yogurt, and pastries. we had a fantastic stay here and would definitely recommend this lovely hotel.

Garstoncottage Bath is a hidden gem nestled in a tranquil location on a hill overlooking rolling fields. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped, with a large bathroom offering a lovely view over the countryside. The attention to detail is impeccable, from the beautifully presented breakfast with perfect eggs from their own hens to the friendly and attentive staff. The hotel offers great value for money, providing a comfortable stay with stunning views over the valley.

No improvements needed, everything was superb.

The view from the room was nice, and the breakfast was delicious. the owner takes pride in her work and it shows in the quality of the food. the location was perfect for my needs and the local pub was a great place to unwind after a long day.

Parking was very difficult and the road was extremely narrow, making it hard to navigate. the room and facilities were quite outdated and could use some updating.

We were lucky to have the lounge all to ourselves, which added an extra touch of privacy. the breakfast was absolutely superb, with a wide variety on offer including cereals, pastries, toast, and a delicious full English breakfast. Beverley was always attentive to our needs and even set the table for us without having to ask. the free parking outside the cottage was also very convenient. a highly recommended and welcoming accommodation option.

We had a double and single bed in our room, but unfortunately the single bed had dirty sheets with someone's hair and a stain on it. However, the staff were accommodating and allowed us to check in early. I would recommend this hotel for its friendly service and comfortable accommodations.
