As women travelling alone, my wife and I felt extremely safe and welcomed at Garth Engan. The private "home" attached to the hosts' house provided us with ample space and privacy. We loved having our own patio area in the beautiful garden. The attention to detail was outstanding, with a fridge stocked with water and milk, a variety of tea and coffee, and a basket of delicious snacks that were replenished daily. The breakfasts were a highlight, with high-quality produce, a great selection of cereals and yogurts, fresh fruit, and even homemade jam. The idyllic setting, including the nearby river, made for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. We highly recommend Garth Engan as the perfect place to stay.
