We enjoyed walking along the trails and taking in the fresh air. the staff went out of their way to make our romantic break even more special, with a cozy fireplace in our room and a private candlelit dinner. the food was delicious, with locally sourced ingredients, and we loved trying traditional Scottish dishes. the highlight of our trip by far was seeing the deer right outside our window.

A recently refurbished annex building with comfortable beds and a luxurious bathroom made our stay at this secluded relaxation spot at Garvault House truly special. The cordial owners welcomed us with tea and cake, followed by a tasty dinner and delicious breakfast. The location, nestled in the middle of nature, provided stunning views of deer and stags right outside our window. The main house was beautifully decorated, and the separate family rooms were quiet and super comfy. We loved the homemade jams at breakfast and appreciated the well-stocked bar, along with the owners' lesson on appreciating Scottish whiskey. The hosts even went above and beyond in helping us retrieve a forgotten jacket. This was definitely our favorite place during our 1000-mile road trip.
