The location of the hotel was perfect for us as it was right in the town centre. We loved being within walking distance from the shops and even had a pub where we could go down and enjoy a drink. The room was clean and comfortable with plenty of hot water. The staff provided clean towels and toiletries in the bathroom. The breakfast service was good, with a variety of options to choose from.

We did notice that the corridors in the hotel were quite dusty, which was a bit off-putting.

The rates were excellent value for money, especially considering the included breakfast. The staff were friendly, providing attentive service throughout our stay. The food options were excellent, with a great selection in the dog-friendly bar area or the restaurant. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making our visit even more enjoyable. a comfortable and spacious room, fantastic food, and a thriving town make this hotel a great choice for any traveler.

the staff were incredibly accommodating and even provided a secure storage area for my bicycle. the breakfast selection was plentiful and of decent quality, and the bedrooms were clean and comfortable. I particularly loved the character of the hotel, with its wonky floors, beams, and stained glass. the local staff were also very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely visit the George Hotel again.

The overall appearance of the hotel was very shabby and outdated. the communal areas were not well-maintained with cobwebs and dust everywhere.

The location is perfect, right in the bustling High Street and just a short 20-minute taxi ride away from the iconic Stonehenge World Heritage site. The hotel offers great value for money, with competitive prices and attention to detail that is hard to find elsewhere.

All in all, our stay at this hotel was great and we couldn't find any fault.

The staff were brilliant and provided excellent hospitality. The breakfast was delicious and not to be missed. I appreciated the option to bring in takeaway food as they currently don't have a chef for pub meals. Not many hotels would accommodate that. The location was also ideal for visiting the local attractions. a top-notch service and a comfortable stay. Well done, team George!
