The cozy hotel in the heart of town provided a delightful stay, with scrumptious local food and warm, friendly service throughout; we found it easy to navigate Whitehaven and the Lakes from there. the peaceful tv room and well-equipped leisure facilities were ideal spots to unwind after a day of exploring. Our only small gripe was with the bathroom door, which had a clear panel; a frosted cover might have added more privacy, but it didn't really bother us much. 🌟.

As bike riders, we were impressed with the secure bicycle storage provided by the hotel. The rooms were comfortable and the bathroom had an excellent walk-in shower with plenty of hot water. The breakfasts were delicious, with a wide range of options including vegan choices. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the hotel was well-presented and spotlessly clean. The central location was perfect, with easy access to bars and restaurants within a 2-minute walk.

The central location of the hotel was perfect for exploring Whitehaven and the Lakes. the restaurant served delicious locally sourced meals and the staff, especially the Chef and owner Lee, provided exceptional service. the lack of a solid bathroom door was a drawback that could be improved upon.

What a gem this hotel is! I absolutely loved my stay here. The location couldn't have been better, right in the heart of everything. I was able to easily explore the town and even visit the nearby lakes. The room was beautifully furnished and the bathroom was absolutely amazing. It had all the comforts I needed, from ironing facilities to tea and coffee amenities. I also appreciated the free toiletries provided. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making sure that my every need was met. The restaurant on-site served excellent food, made with local produce. it was a fantastic experience.

Attended Georgian House Hotel for a birthday meal and was impressed with the beautifully decorated building and polite staff. Although we had to wait a bit for our table, the nibbles provided while waiting were a nice touch. The starters took a while to arrive, but when they did, they were nice. The tapas and steak were pleasant, although on the expensive side. The shared starter, tapas, steak, and drinks added up to £95, which felt pricey. Despite this, the food was enjoyable. I would recommend this hotel for a visit.

Stayed at a lovely stylish hotel near the marina. the rooms were high standard with a large TV, Elemis toiletries and great beds. the staff were professional and left me alone when I wanted to be and were happy to chat when I wanted. the restaurant had good gin selection and fabulous tasty meals.

One downside is that the hotel does not have its parking so I had to park about a 7-minute walk away in a pay and display place near the marina. the room was a bit too expensive for my budget but it was worth it for the experience.
