The cottage we stayed in was very spacious and comfortable. It had all the necessary amenities and a private garden to enjoy the sun. The location was great, with two local pubs and a shop within walking distance. It was convenient to have everything we needed nearby.

There were a few downsides to our stay. The cottage was adjoining the hotel courtyard with an unsecured gate, which was a bit unsettling.

Beautiful room, traditional and contemporary mix, lovely grounds, good breakfast with variety, friendly and well-trained staff, good location near Horsham and Gatwick.

Additionally, the breakfast was delicious, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The hotel exceeded my expectations, with a separate lounge and TV area which was a nice touch.

I recently stayed at Ghyll Manor Country in Horsham for a wedding. The busy restaurant handled the wedding guests and regular patrons with ease. The beautiful garden was perfect for a leisurely stroll, and the easy access to the motorway made our departure effortless. The Bothy cottage we stayed in was like a little aladin's cave - bright, airy, and beautifully clean. The staff were incredibly attentive and accommodating, and the breakfast was delicious. I would definitely come back for another stay at this lovely countryside hotel.

bathroom in need of redecorating

Despite being near the airport, the hotel was very quiet, perfect for light sleepers. I even had the bonus of hearing a Tawny owl one morning. The room was spacious and felt more like a suite with a large comfy bed and two sofas. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Felt like family, no complaints whatsoever.

The hotel's overall potential is evident, and with improvements in the catering department, we would gladly return in the future. I highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant getaway.

We had the most amazing dinner at Ghyll Manor Country. The lamb was cooked and seasoned to perfection, and the pork belly was moist and tender. The cheese board was delicious as well. The food alone is worth a return visit. I highly recommend this hotel.

The staff at the hotel could use some improvement in terms of their service. From the reviews, it seems that there were issues with the waiting time in the restaurant, as well as lack of attentiveness from the staff members.
