Secondly, the staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction throughout our stay. Their friendly and accommodating nature made us feel right at home. Thirdly, the basic amenities provided were top-notch, from the clean and comfortable rooms to the spacious bathrooms. Lastly, the location looked great, offering us the opportunity to visit a number of interesting places in our spare time.

The hotel's only downside was that it was in need of some refurbishment. The tired appearance, especially the carpets, indicated that a renovation would greatly improve the overall experience.

A refreshing change from soulless chains, Glebe Hotel in Barford is a lovely independent hotel. The friendly and charming staff made our stay memorable. The superior room we booked was worth the few extra pounds, and the dinner from the limited menu was very good. The little swimming pool and sauna+ steam room were a nice touch. Don't miss the pleasure grounds behind the beautiful church in the delightful village.
