The breakfast provided was absolutely delicious, with a variety of homemade dishes that made it feel like a home-cooked meal. The hosts were also very friendly and accommodating, providing helpful suggestions for places to visit on the island. the location of the hotel was convenient, allowing for easy access to both the main town and other areas of the island.

One negative aspect of my stay was the cramped shower in my room. The sloping roof made it difficult to move comfortably in the shower.

The location of this place is great, as it is close to Stornoway city centre and within easy reach of various interesting sites like the standing stones of Callanish and the blackhouse sites at Gearrannan and Arnol. The room was comfortable and attractive, with a sparkling clean bathroom. The hosts, Norma and Donald, were very pleasant and provided excellent local knowledge. The breakfasts were enormous and delicious, with treats like authentic black pudding and kippers.

The shower in the house is positioned in the eaves, making it difficult for tall people to use.

We had a great value for our money at Glenhouse. The room was comfortable and attractive, and the bathroom was sparkling clean. The location was perfect – rural but easily accessible to Stornoway and the west coast. The staff, Norma and Donald, were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They gave us great advice on places to visit, and the breakfast they served in the beautiful dining room was enormous and prepared perfectly. We felt well taken care of and enjoyed our stay thoroughly.
