The location was perfect, right in the heart of the city and close to all the attractions. the staff were friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. the rooms were well-equipped with everything we needed, including an abundance of tea and coffee. the breakfast was delicious and kept us fueled throughout the day. a great experience.

The rooms were a bit tired-looking and could use some updating. the radiators were on when we arrived and we couldn't control the temperature, so it got quite hot and noisy with the windows open.

Cute, historic building with comfortable beds, modern bathrooms, and friendly staff. Great location near the Shambles. Good food, live music, and breakfast. No encounter with ghosts.

Great location in the heart of the city, with plenty of entertainment every night. the suite was spacious and well-appointed, featuring a comfortable four-poster bed and a large bathroom. the historical atmosphere and heritage of the place added to the charm. the breakfast included in the price was extremely good, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

There were some issues during check-in with the payment, which caused confusion and a bit of inconvenience. the cleanliness of the room could have been better, especially the toilet which needed a thorough cleaning.

Speaking of breakfast, it was included in our stay and served with a nice variety of options to choose from. All in all, this hotel provided great value for money, with attention to detail and basic amenities that surpassed our expectations.

This hotel is a hidden gem right in the city center, tucked away in a lovely old historic pub. The location couldn't be better, as it is close to all the shops and attractions that you would want to visit in the city. The staff provided excellent service, with a friendly and helpful attitude. The rooms, including the ones with a 4 poster bed, were newly refurbished, so they were very clean and comfortable. It was also a nice touch to have a TV in the room, and the fact that breakfast was included and served made it even better.

This hotel exceeded our expectations in many ways. the value for money was exceptional with competitive prices and complimentary breakfast included. Secondly, the attention to detail throughout the newly refurbished rooms was evident, especially with the clean and comfortable 4-poster bed and the modern TV provided. Additionally, the location of the hotel was perfect, situated within walking distance of all the attractions and just a short stroll away from the restaurant upstairs and the bustling shops nearby.

While there were a few minor areas that could be improved, overall our stay at this hotel was satisfactory.

I had the pleasure of experiencing the open mic night at the Golden Fleece. The local music talent was amazing and created a fantastic atmosphere. It was a true highlight of my stay. The pub itself had a cozy and charming ambiance, with friendly staff and a great selection of beers. The house red wine was delightful as well. The location couldn't have been better, with a view of the bustling Shambles from my window. The overwhelming breakfast was a delicious start to the day. I highly recommend this hotel.

Stayed at a quirky place with lots of character right opposite the famous Shambles. the staff were friendly and even allowed us to take drinks upstairs from the pub. Loved the fact that parts of the pub were left open after closing, offering a chance to explore the supernatural. the short blond lady who checked us in was lovely and reserved a table for us in the evening. From check-in to check-out, we felt welcome and valued. the live music by Will & Joe was incredible, showcasing their amazing talent. a fabulous place with a great location and fantastic staff.
