Comfortable bed, excellent WiFi, fantastic shower. Friendly host, delicious homemade bread, peaceful setting. Authentic farmhouse/cottage feel, great facilities, amazing breakfast. Ensuite bathroom, small staircase. Highly recommended.

Excellent pre-arrival communication and clear signage on arrival. Tranquil and quiet location with great views. Lovely room with nice bathroom fittings. Homemade bread and marmalade for breakfast. Easy parking in the farm yard, close to A30 and a nice pub and supermarket nearby.

The room was beautiful, spotless and comfortable. The view of the surrounding countryside and the absolute silence were so good for the soul and we felt ourselves unwinding and relaxing straight away. Mary is an absolute legend - we needed a lie-down after her delicious breakfasts which kept us fuelled for the rest of the day. She’s an upbeat, friendly person; the sort you wish you could get to know better and her warm and welcoming personality made staying here an absolute pleasure.

I had a wonderful stay at Gooseford Farm Bed & Breakfast. The host was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The breakfasts were excellent, with freshly cooked bread, homemade local honey, and delicious jams. It was evident that the host paid attention to detail, as they knew exactly what I had ordered the previous day, minimizing waste. The farm's location provided amazing views of the surrounding moorland, and it was conveniently situated for my visits to both North and South Devon. it was a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

The property had a charming countryside feel, with lovely exposed beams and a stone fireplace. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with comfy beds. The breakfast options were varied and delicious, with freshly cooked bread and homemade local honey and jams on offer. The host was friendly and welcoming, making sure there was no waste by taking orders the previous day.

There were a couple of minor oversights during our stay. We didn't receive the fresh cakes on arrival as described in other reviews, which was a disappointment.

The value for money at this lovely farm was exceptional, with beautiful rooms and fantastic views. The location was perfect for exploring the moors, and Mary, the host, treated us like family, ensuring our every need was met.

The morning meal would have been even better with a fly screen on the door, as we had a few flies and wasps buzzing around breakfast.

We had an amazing stay at Gooseford Farm Bed & Breakfast! From the warm and friendly welcome by Mary, to the comfortable and beautifully furnished room, everything was perfect. The free upgrade to a king-size ensuite room with a wonderfully comfortable bed was a pleasant surprise. The refreshments tray in the room was a delight, with a variety of teas, coffee, sugar. The farm's own produce made the breakfast absolutely delicious, and we loved having our own table to enjoy it. Mary goes above and beyond to cater to guests' needs, providing extra toiletries, large towels, and even toothbrushes and toothpaste for purchase. The farm is conveniently located near the A30, which was important to us. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

I recently stayed at Gooseford Farm Bed & Breakfast and had an incredible experience. The host went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. Despite my early morning departures for work, I was always provided with a well-equipped continental breakfast. The shower was modern and clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The location, amidst a working farm in the countryside, was peaceful and beautiful. The WiFi signal was strong, allowing me to work from my room. it was a lovely place to stay and I highly recommend it.

But hey, it wasn't all bad. The location of this place was pretty great. Tucked away at the end of a winding country lane, it felt secluded and peaceful. And the host, Mary, was friendly and welcoming, with a good sense of humor. And to be fair, the room was spacious, clean, and had all the necessary amenities I needed. So yeah, not a complete disaster, I guess. But next time, I'll definitely look for a place with thicker walls and a longer breakfast time.

Nestled on the edge of Dartmoor, my family found a peaceful retreat at this secluded valley farm in South Yorkshire. The breathtaking Dartmoor views from our room were unforgettable. Our comfortable room had all the necessary amenities, including a modern and clean shower. The host provided a scrumptious breakfast, with fresh homemade bread and milk from their own dairy farm. The warm and welcoming atmosphere made us feel right at home. We also appreciated the excellent WiFi signal for work. We would definitely return!

The private bathroom was located downstairs, away from our room, which was a bit inconvenient.
