we had an exceptional stay at gowanlea heights bed & breakfast. hosts john & david were fantastic and provided excellent customer service. the newly-renovated rooms were spacious, tastefully decorated, and offered a high level of comfort and attention to detail. the breakfast selection was delicious with a variety of options. the living area felt like home and was a great place to relax. overall, one of the best guesthouses we've experienced.

the cozy fireplace and wide variety of TV channels, including Netflix, made our nights delightful. the abundance of books and information about Scotland added a special touch to our stay, enriching our experience. the warm hospitality of the hosts and the personal touches, such as leaving cake for us, made our short stay memorable. the property's convenient location allowed us to easily explore nearby landmarks like An Ceardach Garden, Davaar Island Cave Painting of the Crucifixion, and Campbeltown Museum & Memorial Garden, enhancing our family bonding experience. We felt relaxed and well-cared for, with the hosts providing great recommendations for dining and activities in the area. It was a wonderful experience, and we hope to return for a longer stay in the future.

I thoroughly enjoyed the room with full digital facilities, including a big telly with Sky TV. It was the perfect place to relax after a long day of sightseeing. the seating in the room was ample, with enough space for at least 6 people to comfortably gather and socialize.

The database did not include a feature for easy online bookings, which would have made the reservation process even more convenient.

this b&b is spotless - super close to town, and offers great local recommendations. they generously allow guests to help themselves to a wide range of snacks and drinks.

The facilities provided during my city break were exceptional. the building in itself is amazing, and the rooms were luxurious with the most comfortable beds. the variety of options for breakfast was impressive, with choices for vegans and vegetarians. the lounge was a bonus, and I enjoyed sitting, having a cup of tea, and having some snacks before heading off to bed. the location was also convenient, and I could easily explore the city on foot.

My experience was fantastic overall, and I cannot think of anything that could have been improved.
