I recently had a great stay at a guesthouse in Edinburgh. the value for money was excellent, with affordable prices for the quality of the stay. Secondly, the attention to detail was impressive. The rooms had all the basic amenities I needed, including a TV and a sink, and there were plenty of plug points conveniently located by the kettle. Lastly, the breakfast was a standout feature. The variety of items offered, including a delicious hot breakfast and fresh scones, made for a very satisfying start to the day.

All in all, my experience at this hotel was absolutely fine.

The breakfast range is not very diverse and doesn't offer a full Scottish breakfast as most guests would expect. the lack of a private bathroom in the rooms is quite inconvenient for some guests, and they don't offer any alternative to this.
