the friendly staff made my stay enjoyable, and i loved how close it was to hadrian’s wall. the surrounding area offered plenty of activities like hiking and horse riding. plus, the well-equipped kitchen was a bonus for preparing meals.

Spacious communal room with comfy beds. As a keen walker, the proximity to Hadrian's Wall walk felt like having a cozy nest near a historical treasure. the kitchen was so well-equipped it made my home kitchen look bare!

Limited power sockets.

I always return for a reason. Staff found my earpods once. Free Wi-Fi, kitchen, lounge, TV room, hiking. No pets fits me well. Coming back for New Year. Comfortable staying, no regrets here.

I was pleasantly surprised by the converted chapel ambiance. the clean private room and delicious food across the road exceeded my expectations. there was only one working shower for the women. Overall I'd recommend this place.

Stunning Location and Friendly Staff

The location of the hostel was absolutely amazing, with plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy like hiking and horse riding, surrounded by the beauty of Hadrian's Wall and scenic landscapes. the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making our stay pleasant and memorable. the noise from squeaking doors and thin walls could be bothersome for light sleepers.

The hostel had all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was well-equipped, providing everything I needed to prepare my own meals. It was also great to see that milk and tea were provided, making it easy to enjoy a hot drink. The location of the hostel was excellent, offering easy access to nearby attractions. Additionally, the staff at the hostel were friendly and professional, ensuring a pleasant experience.

The automatic lighting in the bathroom facilities, which occasionally didn't work, leaving guests in the dark. Another issue was the lack of soundproofing in the building, as the constant banging and slamming of doors made it difficult to sleep.

The location of the hostel is amazing, with so many interesting things to do in the surrounding area. You can go hiking, horse riding, or admire the famous Hadrian's Wall and even Robin Hood's oak. The leisure area is spacious and the kitchen is well-equipped for guests to use.

Stayed at the hostel with a lovely garden, free parking and a bar. Perfect for when you want to party, sleep, and stumble back to your room without worrying about a long walk.
