the historic building, attentive hosts, and delicious breakfast exceeded expectations during our escape from the chaos of the city. the attention to detail, such as a birthday card and box of chocolates, made us feel truly special. the beautiful gardens and comfortable rooms added to the charm and character of our stay.

Small leak in the bathroom.

Spent Xmas at a historic hotel and had a great time! the room was spotlessly clean, cozy and had a comfy bed. the hosts were welcoming and friendly, and the breakfast was fabulous with a variety of delicious options. I loved the personal touch of the newspaper during breakfast. the location was ideal, easy to find and in a decent area with nice gardens. I appreciated the extra effort the host put into making my stay comfortable. They even provided a lounge area with TV and tea making facilities.

Although, bear in mind that some doorways and arches are slightly low due to the historic nature of the property, so taller guests might need to watch out. But, that is a minor inconvenience when taking into account the overall experience.

We had a wonderful stay at this luxurious hotel. The location is perfect, tucked away down the garden, providing a peaceful retreat. The room had all the amenities we needed, including a comfortable bed and a sitting area. The service was impeccable, with the hosts going above and beyond to ensure we had a pleasant stay. The attention to detail was evident throughout, from the beautifully decorated rooms to the delicious home cooked breakfast. We also appreciated the free parking and Wi-Fi. this place exceeded our expectations and we highly recommend it to family and friends.

the greyhound was even better than our previous stay in glemsford. the charming property, friendly hosts, and a perfect english breakfast made our city break unforgettable. we will definitely return and recommend to friends/family!
