We were pleasantly surprised by our stay at Gulabin Lodge. The self-catering facilities were spotless and well-equipped, making it easy for us to prepare our own meals. The beds were incredibly comfortable, with linens that rivaled those of a 5-star hotel. Despite being a hostel, the lodge had a cozy atmosphere, with two lovely sitting rooms complete with fireplaces. The surrounding setting was beautiful and perfect for peaceful walks. The manager, Phil, went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. we had a great experience at Gulabin Lodge and would highly recommend it.

We had a fantastic Christmas getaway in the heart of the Highlands. The self-catering facilities were excellent, allowing us to cook up a delicious festive feast. The cozy open fires in the lounges added to the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The location was perfect for exploring the beautiful surrounding area, with plenty of scenic walks right on our doorstep. And the staff were friendly and accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed for a memorable holiday.

That the dining room was a bit chilly, but we quickly found a solution by moving a table into one of the cozy lounges. Other than that, our experience at this hotel was absolutely fantastic.

Perfect for skiing and hiking in the nearby mountains, less than 10 minute drive from Glenshee ski centre. Equipment hire available to skip queues. Friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable rooms with a traditional Scottish ski lodge feel. Great self-catering facilities. Peaceful and clean lodge with beautiful walks in the valley. Manager Phil was excellent and always ready to assist.

We had a fantastic getaway in this remote part of the Cairngorms. The hotel's location was perfect for our hiking and skiing adventures. The friendly staff, especially Phil, showed us a beautiful walking trail through the valley. The lodge itself was cozy and clean, with comfortable beds. We enjoyed spending evenings by the fireplace and the convenience of parking right outside. the hotel provided a beautiful setting, helpful staff, and a comfortable stay.

All was perfect.
