We got excellent value for our money at the beautiful cottage. The room was clean, comfy, and had everything we needed. The location was stunning, with plenty to see and do nearby. The owners were friendly and even left us a surprise birthday cake.

The breakfast menu could use a bit more variety.

Lovely touches on arrival with fresh bread, butter, jam, and milk waiting for us. the patio was fabulous and provided stunning views. the keys were easily accessible in the door, making entry convenient.

The listing stated that each room had a private bathroom, but this was not the case. one of the rooms had a double bed instead of two singles, which made it difficult for unrelated adults sharing.

We loved the warm welcome and the delicious welcome pack that was waiting for us upon arrival. the cottage itself was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. the bed was incredibly comfortable, which made it difficult to get up in the morning! the location was fantastic, with easy access to Snowdon and other nearby attractions. Plus, the added touch of Welsh cakes, bread, and jam was a lovely surprise.

There was limited options for walking our dog in the evening without having to go out onto the road. It would have been nice to have a designated area for dog walking.

The host provided delicious Welsh cakes and freshly baked bread, along with a variety of teas and coffee. the wood burning stove was a cozy feature that added to the ambiance of the cottage. the location of the property was peaceful and rural, perfect for a relaxing getaway.

The bathroom window could benefit from frosted glass for added privacy, although there was a blind. there was no regular waste bin in the kitchen, so we had to improvise with a bucket and plastic carrier bag.

We just had our second stay at Gwyllt Cottages and it was just as amazing as the first. The property truly feels like a home away from home, with everything you need. Jane and Dennis, the owners, are incredibly friendly and welcoming, always going above and beyond. They even provided vegan welcome goodies, which was a great touch. The cottage was clean and well-maintained, with special touches like a welcome hamper and luxurious hand soap. The surrounding grounds are beautiful and peaceful, with plenty of parking and a safe area for children. We also loved that they had a secure place for us to store our bikes. we highly recommend Gwyllt Cottages.

We had a lovely few days at this spacious and well-equipped cottage. It truly felt like a home away from home. the property had everything we needed, from kitchen and cooking essentials to towels, dressing gowns, a BBQ, and blankets. Our dog was welcomed with open arms, and there was even a treat basket and water bowl for him. the cottage was extremely clean and offered great value for such a beautiful place. We enjoyed sitting outside in the evening, enjoying the peaceful surroundings and beautiful view. the ample space provided plenty of room for our dog to run around, and we even had the pleasure of watching wild bunnies hopping around. the welcome surprise of Welsh cakes, jam, and fresh bread was a delicious touch. the hosts were welcoming and knowledgeable about the local area, providing us with helpful suggestions for dog-friendly places to visit.
