This hotel offers great value for money. The prices are reasonable and the attention to detail is commendable. The location is perfect, being close to a family-friendly beach and also near the centre of Alford. It's so convenient to have the village centre just a stone's throw away. The service provided by the staff is fantastic and the basic amenities are well-maintained. The rooms are comfortable and the bathroom has a nice shower. And let's not forget the delicious breakfast that is cooked to perfection. The rooms even have a double and single bed, making it suitable for families or larger groups.

I had a fantastic stay at a charming hotel in Alford. Upon arrival, I was warmly welcomed and immediately felt at ease. The atmosphere was relaxed and the location was beautiful. The highlight of my stay was the delicious food, especially the grilled haddock and fish & chips. The breakfast was also generous and offered a good variety. I would highly recommend this hotel and definitely plan to stay again in the future. a great experience.

We had a great experience at the Half Moon. the staff were friendly and accommodating, especially with our dogs. They made us feel welcome and even went out of their way to pass on an urgent message. the family room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the bathroom/shower were well-maintained. the hotel also provided us with information about local dog walks, which was a nice touch. Breakfast, both cooked and uncooked options, was delicious and made to order. Highly recommend this place if you're in the area!

The breakfast options were decent and the coffee was hot. the hotel location was convenient for my business meetings. the room had a comfortable bed and a working air conditioning unit which helped me rest well during the hot weather.

The cleanliness of the room was questionable, there were stains on the carpet and the bathroom had a musty smell. the reception staff was not very helpful and seemed disinterested in assisting me with my queries.
