The location of the hotel was great, being near to bars and restaurants, including a karaoke bar with a great DJ just across the road. The room we stayed in was spacious and clean, with a large bathroom that had a lovely bath. The staff were friendly and the service was good. We also enjoyed a delicious meal at the hotel.

There were some issues with the facilities, as there was no hot water for a bath and the hotel did not serve breakfast.

Great value for money, comfortable room, and the best full English breakfast I’ve had in any hotel. The hotel is conveniently located in the center of a friendly village and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The beds in our room were too small and uncomfortable, which made it difficult to sleep well. the atmosphere in the hotel was lacking and did not feel welcoming or friendly.

Very helpful staff arranged early collection of breakfast. Clean, spacious room with tired decor. Good bathroom with powerful shower. Reasonably comfortable bed.

We were pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome and attention to detail at this charming old building in the heart of town. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the bed was heavenly. The selection of drinks in the room was a nice touch, and the smart TV added a modern touch. The highlight was definitely the amazing bath. Despite a couple of minor inconveniences such as a noisy office door and limited breakfast options, we still had a great stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel for its value for money and convenient location.

I had a fantastic stay at Hardwick Arms in Sedgefield! The room was spotlessly clean with all the amenities I needed, including tea/coffee facilities and toiletries. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the TV was a smart TV, which was a bonus. The hotel is located in a charming village and I thoroughly enjoyed exploring the area. The breakfast was delicious and freshly made, and the waitress was friendly and attentive. Hardwick Arms exceeded my expectations and provided excellent value for money.
