We had a wonderful stay at a cozy and quiet guest house with a lovely view. The hosts were excellent, and the food was superb. The owners even allowed us to stay longer than checkout time so we could watch the rugby world cup semi-final in our room. It was above and beyond customer service.

The only thing we would suggest to make the breakfast even better would be to include a porridge option. The restaurant at the hotel was closed on Sundays and Mondays, which was unexpected when we initially booked our stay.

As a family traveling with a baby, we were warmly welcomed at Hartfell House in Moffat. The clean and comfortable room had an excellent view. We thoroughly enjoyed the homemade bread served during our lovely dinner in the restaurant. The cooked breakfast in the morning was fantastic and set us up for the day. We highly recommend staying at this welcoming hotel and will definitely return if we are in the area again.

The peaceful atmosphere ensured that we slept well as it was so quiet. This place is nestled outside the hustle and bustle of the city, offering easy access to some very nice walks. The service provided by the staff was exceptional. From housekeeping to answering our queries, they were always helpful and friendly. The room amenities were also impressive. We enjoyed having a comfortable sitting area, free Wi-Fi, and a flat-screen TV. The dining experience at the restaurant was top-notch, with a variety of options for breakfast and delicious menu options for dinner. The owners were lovely, pleasant, and clearly proud of their establishment. we highly recommend this venue for its excellent service, quality amenities, and beautiful location.
