I recently stayed at the Haughton Arms in Alford for a few days and had a great experience. The room was impeccably clean and cozy, and the dinner selection was impressive, with options for vegetarians as well. The portion sizes and quality of the food were both excellent. I especially enjoyed the lovely outdoor area in the garden, where I could soak up the afternoon sun. The hotel has a modern look and ample parking space. The staff were incredibly warm, welcoming, and accommodating, making me feel right at home. The location was convenient for exploring the village center and nearby attractions, such as the historic railway and transport museum and castles.

We even received a packed lunch when we had to leave early, which was a thoughtful gesture. The room was comfortable and quiet, providing a peaceful night's sleep. we were impressed with the hotel's renovations, excellent service, and enjoyable dining experience. We will definitely consider returning with our family in the future.
