recently stayed at a charming hotel in Alford during my summer holidays and had a wonderful time. haughton arms exceeded my expectations with its lovely rooms, friendly staff, and delicious food.

Well-cooked breakfast, spotlessly clean throughout, private parking available. Good location for exploring castles, homes, and gardens. Friendly and efficient breakfast service, will definitely return.

The spacious, comfortable room was a paradise with excellent staff and EXCEPTIONAL food.

A family run favorite with activities like hiking and skiing. Accommodation with a restaurant, free parking, and a bar. Excellent British, Indian, and Scottish cuisine. Located in the heart of nowhere.

The service was like a game of hide and seek - they seemed to disappear at the most inconvenient moments.

I recently stayed at the Haughton Arms in Alford for a few days and had a great experience. The room was impeccably clean and cozy, and the dinner selection was impressive, with options for vegetarians as well. The portion sizes and quality of the food were both excellent. I especially enjoyed the lovely outdoor area in the garden, where I could soak up the afternoon sun. The hotel has a modern look and ample parking space. The staff were incredibly warm, welcoming, and accommodating, making me feel right at home. The location was convenient for exploring the village center and nearby attractions, such as the historic railway and transport museum and castles.

Delicious food. Quiet and dark rooms, with comfortable beds. Immaculate hotel. Excellent breakfast with plenty of choice. Overall excellent price, food, cleanliness, and customer service.

We had a wonderful stay at the Haughton Arms. The staff were friendly, helpful, and made us feel welcome throughout our visit. The location of the hotel was ideal, with easy access to nearby attractions. The food was delicious, from the included breakfast to the meals we had at the bar and restaurant. We even received a packed lunch when we had to leave early, which was a thoughtful gesture. The room was comfortable and quiet, providing a peaceful night's sleep. we were impressed with the hotel's renovations, excellent service, and enjoyable dining experience. We will definitely consider returning with our family in the future.

Saturday night can be a bit noisy due to the lively bar below, which closes at 1.00 am.
