I got great value for my money at Hawksmoor Guest House! The room was beautiful, spotless, and super comfortable. The location was ideal, right in the middle of Bowness and Windermere, with shops and activities nearby. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making my stay even more enjoyable.

The hotel breakfast menu could use some improvement with the toast. Some guests left their toast uneaten, and the toast served to us was cold.

We had a wonderful stay at this guest house, ideally located between two lively towns. The room was spacious and well-equipped with a comfortable bed, tea/coffee facilities, and a mini fridge. The bathroom had a great shower with nice toiletries. The service from the owners was outstanding, and the freshly cooked breakfast was plentiful. We loved returning here after a day of exploring the beautiful surroundings on foot or by public transport. The location was perfect for visiting the lake.

The breakfast was good and there was hot water for our tea and coffee. the view from the balcony was really nice, with trees and greenery around. it was easy to walk to town and there were lots of shops and restaurants to visit.

Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly with a tray of tea. The family room was spacious, perfect for us and our son, with a curtained-off area for his privacy. Everything appeared new and spotless. The beds were incredibly comfortable, making it difficult to get up in the morning. The breakfast selection was fantastic, and the staff were friendly and accommodating.

I had the most delicious breakfast at Hawksmoor Guest House. The poached eggs were perfectly cooked, and the salmon was absolutely delicious. The breakfast room itself was charming, with a fascinating fish tank as decoration.

The guesthouse is conveniently located between Windermere and Bowness, making it easy to explore both areas of the Lake District. The hosts are always available to offer advice and help about the local area.

The noise from the traffic in the front-facing rooms can be a bit disruptive, especially during the day.

The hotel was run like a hotel but with a personal feel, and the staff were incredibly friendly. The hotel also offered spa facilities at a nearby location, which was a great added bonus. The breakfast was delicious and cooked fresh, with unlimited coffee and juice. The location was perfect, within a short walking distance of both Bowness and Windermere, making it convenient for exploring the area.

This hotel exceeded all my luxury needs with its well-equipped rooms and exclusive amenities. the service was exceptional, and the breakfast was fantastic, which provided me with enough energy for the day. Located in an excellent area, it was easy to explore the city's attractions, and the Garden area and Sun terrace were a great way to relax.
