Man, the outside dining is just unbeatable! Had some lekker brekkie near the river, and it was a real vibe. The room was super spacious and had a great setup, and the shower was phenomenal—instant hot water! And wow, the waitstaff were really kind and attentive throughout my stay.

This place is just an 8-minute walk from Exeter Cathedral, which was perfect for our family outings. We loved the spacious setup for our large family, especially the peaceful riverside garden where we could unwind with the babies.

In my wife’s opinion, an extra high chair would be great.

Staying at the Mill On The Exe was like stepping into a cozy cocoon where everything was just right! The spacious suite with a view of the river was so comfortable it felt like a fancy cloud. The attention to detail was impressive—high-quality toiletries, refreshment options, and a shower that could easily compete with a spa! Not to mention, the restaurant's ambiance made my dinner feel like a romantic date with the food, which was nothing short of amazing. Every meal was a delight, especially when paired with the river views—I'm still dreaming about that terrace!

My room had a charming river view, but I quickly learned the pub noise was a downside! ! The service from the lady at reception made me feel welcomed despite the hiccups, she's lovely!

The prices weren't exactly a bargain, but for the location and experience, it was tolerable.

this hotel is really nice! the rooms are super spacious and cozy, with a huge comfy bed that felt like sleeping on a cloud. i loved that they have a nespresso machine and bottled water in the room, such a nice touch! the location is great, just a short walk to the city center and beautiful walks along the river. there’s even a bar right on the river that has a chill vibe and a nice terrace!

the shower water sprayed everywhere on the floor which was kinda annoying, and the front door slamming people was a bit loud at night.

The place is really clean and tidy with friendly service. Loved the atmosphere by the river. the area felt so inviting with an awesome pub just nearby. Breakfast was top-notch too!
