The beautiful surroundings make for a lovely walk around the estate, including a charming fairy wood. Plus, the added bonus of a BBQ hut allows for cozy evenings even in rainy weather.

The lack of washing up facilities in the lodge meant that our mugs became a bit unpleasant by the end of our stay.

I had an amazing time at High Parks Villa. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by Sean and Jenna, who treated me like family. The lodge itself was clean, comfortable, and cozy, providing the perfect retreat in a peaceful location. I especially enjoyed the firepit and the nearby Aysgarth Falls, which were breathtaking. A hidden gem in Bedale, High Parks offers cozy huts surrounded by nature. Clear instructions, quiet atmosphere, and stunning stargazing opportunities. The BBQ hut adds to the charm, with a Viking feel and attention to detail. Helpful hosts, close to amenities, and plenty of activities nearby. The friendly miniature horses are a bonus. Best huts on my 'hutting' journey so far. Highly recommended!

The lodge also offers unique facilities such as an indoor BBQ hut and a fridge and kettle with complimentary Yorkshire tea. The hosts are friendly and responsive, providing little touches like chocolates and Prosecco on arrival.

One drawback mentioned by guests is the lack of a sink in the kitchenette, making washing up a bit inconvenient.

The log cabins at this countryside retreat were a pleasant surprise, with spacious and clean interiors that exceeded our expectations. The diameter of the floor area was estimated to be around 6-7 meters, providing a comfortable and roomy atmosphere. The staff members were welcoming and went out of their way to make us feel at home, offering recommendations for dinner and ensuring our needs were met. The site itself was beautifully landscaped, with stunning views of the surrounding countryside.

Stayed at the High Parks Villa and it was amazing! The check-in was a breeze and the hosts were incredibly friendly. The villa itself was spacious and had all the amenities we needed, including a fridge and kettle with complimentary tea. The highlight was the BBQ hut, which was a great place to relax and enjoy a meal, rain or shine. The location was perfect, with nearby shops and villages just a short drive away. We even took our own cooked meal and made use of the brand new microwave in the BBQ hut. a peaceful and enjoyable stay.
