We stayed at a charming countryside house, close to all the attractions and yet so peaceful for a good night's sleep. The room had a stunning view and even the bathroom had a lovely carpeted feel. The hosts were friendly and accommodating, providing a delicious breakfast with locally sourced ingredients. The secure off-road parking and beautiful gardens were an added bonus.

The bed could have been more comfortable for those with lower back pain.

I recently stayed at High Rigg B&B for a few nights and had a wonderful experience. The location was perfect, offering beautiful countryside views and a peaceful atmosphere. The hosts, Kim and Mike, were extremely welcoming and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. They even set up a table for us in the lounge so we could play games in the evening. The room was spacious and cozy, with a lovely en-suite bathroom and thoughtful amenities. The breakfast was delicious and it was a delight to enjoy it while watching the birds in the garden. I highly recommend High Rigg B&B for a fantastic stay.

The cup of tea and cake upon arrival was such a warm and welcoming gesture. The fresh flowers in the bedroom added a lovely touch. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing us with great recommendations for local pubs and places of interest. The breakfasts were excellent, with plenty of options to choose from. The room and private bathroom were spacious, comfortable, and spotlessly clean.

The location was a bit further from the main town, but the peacefulness and tranquility of the house and surroundings more than made up for it.

As foreign tourists, we appreciated the free wifi and the abundance of breakfast options. The location on the edge of the Yorkshire Moors was perfect, offering stunning views of the countryside. The hosts, Mike and Kim, were friendly and provided us with helpful information to plan our day trips to York and a lovely walk on the moors. The comfortable bed was a welcome retreat after a day of exploring.
