We recently stayed at a hotel in Matlock and had a great experience. The room was clean and comfortable, and we especially appreciated the comfortable bed that ensured a good night's sleep. The staff were friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. The location was also ideal, allowing us to easily explore the surrounding area. Moreover, the hotel had the added advantage of being accessible at all times, allowing us to come and go without any interruptions. we would definitely recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay.

I have to say, High Tor exceeded my expectations in terms of value for money. The room was not only spacious but also exceptionally clean, with an amazing shower. The location was ideal for exploring both Matlock and Matlock Bath, and the staff were friendly, approachable, and always willing to help. I especially appreciated their warm welcome and how well they treated my daughter, who is 11.

This hotel is in a good area with lovely greenery and pretty views. The staff were friendly and provided great service. The rooms were comfortable with a special bathroom. The breakfast included in the rate was a nice touch.

Great location - only a short stroll to town center and very quiet at night despite being near the main road. Loved the stunning views facing the cliff face, it was breathtaking. the staff were friendly and welcoming, adding to the overall positive experience.

The room was too hot and stuffy, even with the skylight window. the hotel advertised having fans available but they couldn't find one for me.
