A very friendly place to stay in a super, secluded location. Lovely breakfasts each morning and very welcoming to our small dog. Interesting places were suggested to visit and seeing a working farm in its day to day life was a joy. the Tamar Valley is certainly a beautiful area to visit with the River the only north/south route so few roads. Being in Spring the bluebells, wild garlic & Campion along the lanes were a delight. I appreciated the peacefulness and countryside views, enhancing relaxation. Exploring nearby attractions like the Cornish Maize Maze and the historic Morwellham Quay created memorable family bonding experiences.

Stayed with my mates at Higher Chapel Farm, epic breakfast fuel before hitting Hotel Triplets. Hostess super chill, recommended lit spots to check out. Views from room were sick, saw sheep and cows chilling. Country vibes, pub close by, and National Trust sites nearby, top-notch stay!

Wish there was a swanky hangout area for party vibes. But who needs that when you've got the whole Tamar Valley for exploring and uncovering hidden gems with the squad!

This hotel offers a very warm and friendly atmosphere during your stay, set in a peaceful location surrounded by lush greenery. the breakfast here is absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of local products included. the staff are attentive and always ready to assist with any inquiries. the beautiful sites around Cornwall are easily accessible, providing stunning views and a perfect opportunity for outdoor activities.

One minor improvement could be made in providing slightly larger duvets for the beds to ensure a cosier night's sleep. Sometimes, guests might face minor technical issues like the hot water tap not working, but these are easily fixable with a quick question to the hosts.

stayed at a fantastic b&b in calstock and revisited now. higher chapel farm still shines brightly. the warm welcome, scrumptious breakfasts, and serene setting make this spot a gem.

Lovely spot to chill out in, located in a peaceful corner. Pawsitive vibes for serving tasty breakfasts and being so welcoming to our furry friend. Only gripe was the snug duvet, needed a bit more coverage at night, but no biggie! 🐾.

Fantastic breakfast, lots of choices including fruit, yogurt, and granola. Friendly and helpful owner. Peaceful location for dog walking. Close to National Trust houses and Dartmoor National Park.

We had an amazing stay at Higher Chapel Farm! The value for money was fantastic and the room was spotlessly clean and super comfortable. The location was convenient for visiting beautiful places, and Jean, the host, made us feel right at home with her warm welcome and helpfulness. Plus, the daily homemade cakes in the room were a delightful touch!

As for breakfast offerings, it would have been even better if there were a few more vegetarian options. But overall, it didn't bother us much because everything else was just perfect!

The room had a lovely view of green fields where cows and calves grazed. The cozy atmosphere made us feel at home. Cons: Duvet size could be slightly larger for better coverage.
