We loved the spaciousness of Highfield Cottage, with a comfortable bed and a well-equipped kitchen. The cottage was immaculately clean and had all the facilities we needed for our vegetarian and vegan lifestyle. The gardens were beautiful, and we even discovered a tennis court. The location was perfect, just 20 minutes away from our comic con venue and with shops nearby. It was also conveniently close to Livingston shopping centre. The peaceful and cozy atmosphere of the cottage made our stay enjoyable and we will definitely consider staying here again in the future.

The cottage was beautifully set out inside and spotlessly clean. The spacious rooms provided plenty of comfort, especially the big, cosy bed in the bedroom. The deep bath and amazing water pressure made for a relaxing and rejuvenating bath experience. The location was perfect, situated in a quiet area yet close to shops and attractions like Livingston shopping centre. The lovely gardens and even a tennis court added to the overall charm of the cottage.

The two chairs in the living room were not very comfortable.

We had a fantastic stay at this cottage. The owners were lovely and the cottage itself was excellent. The rooms were very spacious and the bed was incredibly comfortable. We loved the wood-burning stove in the lounge, which added to the cozy atmosphere. The modern kitchen had all the amenities we needed for our self-catering stay. The location was perfect for us, being in a very quiet area but still close to relatives in Broxburn and my Dad's care home in Edinburgh. We also appreciated that the cottage was pet-friendly and will definitely be bringing our cat with us next time. it was a great stay and we can't wait to come back.

My stay at Highfield Cottage was excellent value for money. The room was spacious, modern, and had all the amenities I needed. The location was perfect for my visits to relatives in Broxburn and my dad's care home in Edinburgh. The staff were lovely and the cottage was pet-friendly, which means I can bring my cat next time. Highly recommend!

The breakfast menu could be improved with the addition of a poofy/stool in front of the sofa for a more relaxed dining experience.
