We had a fantastic stay here. The location was perfect, nestled in the peaceful countryside but still close enough to explore the nearby attractions. The hotel staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, making us feel welcome from the very beginning. The room was clean, cozy, and had all the amenities we needed, including a large, comfortable bed. The breakfast in the morning was outstanding, with a wide variety of options and the option to have it cooked to order. We especially loved the warm and inviting atmosphere throughout the hotel, including a comfortable lounge area and a beautiful garden with garden furniture.

Spent a lovely weekend in the countryside with all the amenities I needed. Enjoyed the peaceful location and the clean and well-kept interiors. the lounge was a great place to unwind and relax. Breakfast set me up for the whole day and was cooked to perfection. the friendly staff gave me great recommendations on local places to visit.

The TV was a bit small in the room, but it wasn't a major issue for me. the check-in window was a bit tight, which made me feel under pressure to arrive early.

Attending a nearby wedding and reception at Sledmere House, we found the location of Wold Escapes, Highfield Farm to be ideal, only a 15-minute drive away. The delicious breakfast, cooked by the venue's cookery school, featured locally sourced produce. The tranquil setting, superb facilities, and friendly staff all contributed to a wonderful stay. The lounge provided a comfortable space with a wealth of information on walks and places of interest. The large, comfortable bed and cleanliness of the accommodation made it cozy and inviting. A great location for exploring the beautiful Yorkshire Wolds.
