The location is perfect, with easy access to the town, seafront, and North Norfolk Railway. A great choice for backpackers.

The location was ideal for me, with easy road parking and a short walk to the train station. The room was clean, comfortable, and had a nice view of the sea. The breakfast menu had a great selection, including options for vegetarians and vegans.

There weren't many eating places available in the evening, especially during the Christmas period. I would have liked more space for luggage in my room, although I understand the limitations of the room size.

We had a fantastic time at Highfield Guest House. Our purpose was to explore the town, and the central location made it easy for us to walk everywhere. The peaceful atmosphere allowed us to get a good night's sleep. Sammy and John, the hosts, were incredibly friendly and welcoming. John’s delicious breakfast, including his vegan scrambled tofu, was a highlight of our stay. The food was excellent with a great choice of fresh fruit, juice, and well-cooked breakfast items. The hosts were also kind enough to let us leave our luggage after check-out so we could enjoy the beach. a wonderful experience.

That the view from my room was not the best, but that didn't bother me as I was only there for a short stay.

The room we booked was absolutely amazing! the decorations were top-notch and the king size bed was incredibly comfortable. We had a lot of space to move around, which was a pleasant surprise. the breakfast selection was great, with a variety of choices to suit everyone's taste. the food was delicious and we felt really welcomed by the staff. Another thing we loved was the proper tea pots and cafetières of coffee, as well as the jugs of orange juice, milk, and yogurt. It was a nice touch and better for the environment too!

One small improvement would be to have heavier or darker curtains in the bedroom. the light in the morning disrupted our sleep a bit.

highfield guest house in sheringham consistently exceeds expectations. helpful hosts, peaceful atmosphere, and flexible key collection make for a stress-free stay. the breakfast selection is enjoyable and the attention to detail, like offering to print out reservations, adds a personal touch. a clean and newly decorated room with comfortable bed makes it feel like a home away from home.

Limited space for luggage.

The bed was really comfortable and the furnishings were of high quality. the little homely touches made it feel like a home from home. the breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of options available. the location was great, close to the town center and the beach, with plenty of parking on the road outside. It was convenient for unloading luggage.

The view was obstructed by the roof of an extension and the garden was actually undergoing renovation. I don't think the price increase for the "garden view" was justified.
