We recently stayed at a charming guesthouse in a beautiful location. The owners, Jen and Gordon, went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable visit. They saved the day when our taxi didn't arrive on time, making sure we didn't miss our flight. Their kindness and helpfulness left a lasting impression.

Although there were a few minor setbacks, such as a smaller bedroom and bathroom size, as well as the occasional temperature fluctuation in the shower, we found the overall experience welcoming and pleasant.

This hotel offers great value for money with its affordable prices and attention to detail. The location in a quiet side street adds to the overall charm and provides a peaceful atmosphere. The friendly and helpful staff ensure excellent service throughout the stay. The rooms are comfortable and well-equipped, with private bathrooms and even a coffee machine in the old wardrobe space. The breakfast is a definite highlight, with a wide selection that caters to all tastes. Guests can also enjoy live music, creating a lively and enjoyable atmosphere.

Although all was ok, the hotel could benefit from some updates and improvements.

The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good. the location was convenient, close to key attractions.

The host was rude and unfriendly. the rooms were basic, with a noisy plumbing system and no control over the heating.

I recently stayed at a guest house in a central location, close to the main shopping area. The room was comfortable and clean, and the bathroom was well-maintained. The staff provided excellent service and were very friendly. The breakfast included a variety of options and was absolutely delicious. The location was perfect, allowing easy access to activities such as exploring the town and crossing the river with my dog.

The WiFi service was unfortunately not reliable, as it did not work during my stay.

Clean room, good location near main street, easy car travel to Lochs & Trossachs. Lots of local dining options. Perfect base for exploring highlands with nearby walks, Inveraray, Loch Lomond, Stirling, Falkirk. Friendly hosts, delicious breakfasts. Welcoming atmosphere, excellent service, nice room amenities, including coffee machine and snacks. Enjoyed bagpipe performance in the morning. Will return. Thank you!

The location of this guest house is ideal, being in a central yet quiet secluded green area. It is situated right in the heart of the charming village, making it convenient for exploring the town center of Callander. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with a 4 poster bed adding a nice touch. The breakfast is excellent, offering plenty to eat and of very good quality. Additionally, the wifi is superb, allowing for seamless streaming even in the room.

Parking can be a bit challenging, requiring a short search.

Loved the welcoming approach, quality and variety of food, excellent breakfast service, central location, comfy room with tea/coffee facilities and quiet at the back.

The staff were very accommodating and location was convenient, close to attractions. It was great to have tea, coffee, apples, biscuits and filtered water available 24 hours downstairs.

The bathroom and carpet were very outdated and off putting. the bathroom needed modernization and the vinyl floor was of poor quality.

We were pleasantly surprised by our stay at Highland Guest House. The caretakers were welcoming and provided excellent hospitality. The room was comfortable and quiet, ensuring a good night's sleep. The breakfast selection was varied and delicious. we had a positive experience and would recommend this hotel to others.

This hotel really exceeded our expectations. the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. Secondly, the location was fantastic, tucked away on a quiet side street but still close to all the shops and amenities. And let's not forget the breakfast - it was absolutely delicious and had something for everyone. Plus, the rooms were clean and comfortable, with a queen bed in the old wardrobe space and a private bathroom. Oh, and did I mention the real coffee machine in the room? That was a lovely touch.
