The bed was super comfy and provided a great night's sleep! Plus, we loved watching the ducks on the pond.

Gorgeous location with stunning views of Lochan, especially after a snowfall. The caretakers were incredibly friendly and helpful. The cottage itself was cozy and warm with a lovely log fire. Great walks nearby, including the jaw-dropping Truim Falls. The owners were extremely accommodating and welcoming. Conveniently located near a grocery shop and close to several walking and cycling routes. The woodburner in the evenings was a delightful treat. Amazing hosts, spotlessly clean accommodation, and dog-friendly. Perfect base for exploration, don't miss out!

We had an incredible time at Highland Holiday Cottages, so much so that we extended our stay! The property is stunning, with a beautiful pond, apple trees, and breathtaking mountain views. We loved spotting the wildlife, including sheep, squirrels, and even a deer. The cottage itself was modern, cozy, and impeccably clean. The kitchen was fully equipped, the bedding was dreamy, and the eco-friendly toiletries were a lovely touch. The energy meter helped us be mindful of our usage without sacrificing comfort. The owners were friendly and thoughtful, providing everything we needed for a perfect stay.

Lovely Christmas Holiday

I recently had the pleasure of spending Christmas at a charming cottage nestled in the picturesque countryside. The cottage was impeccably clean and well-maintained, with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and lake. The enclosed garden was perfect for my dogs to frolic in, although it is shared with other guests. The location on the A9 was convenient for exploring the stunning Cairngorms region. While the Wi-Fi was a bit temperamental, it didn't hinder our holiday. The satellite TV provided clear pictures, although it's not a premium service. It would have been nice if the cost of electricity, which powers the heating and hot water, was included in the winter months. However, these minor shortcomings didn't detract from our overall enjoyment. The welcoming staff went above and beyond to ensure a memorable Christmas for us. I would highly recommend these cottages to anyone planning a holiday in the Cairngorms.

The hotel breakfast menu could be improved by including complimentary tea, coffee, and milk upon arrival.
