Hillcrest Cottage in Carrickfergus was a perfect home base for exploring Northern Ireland. The cottage is in a lovely, quiet location with excellent sea views from the living room. The unique upside-down layout of the house added an extra quirk to our stay. The bedrooms were comfortable and quiet, and the en-suite in the upstairs one was a great bonus, especially for families. Our hosts were friendly and helpful, and our little one had a great time getting to know their dogs, horses, and fish. The cottage provided the space and comfort we needed, making it a great alternative to a hotel or B&B.

The cleanliness of the cottage was impeccable, and the friendly staff made sure my stay was enjoyable. The location offered stunning sea views and a peaceful atmosphere, while still being conveniently close to Carrickfergus. The upside-down layout of the house added a unique touch and allowed me to enjoy the beautiful scenery from the living room.
