Really liked the staff, excellent location, very close to the tram stop. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. They were all excellent. The room was functional, clean and tidy. The breakfasts were excellent and perfectly cooked. The atmosphere in the bar was great, with friendly locals and good drinks.

The fact that there was a tram stop right outside the hotel was extremely convenient. Despite the initial appearance of the building, the hotel had a charming character that I really enjoyed. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The room was clean and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities such as ironing facilities and free Wi-Fi. The breakfast provided was delicious and there was a great selection of meals and beers at the pub downstairs.

Although there were a few minor issues with the hotel, overall I would highly recommend it to friends. The initial impression of the hotel's exterior could be improved, as the sign was falling down and the building looked like it needed some TLC.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The room was clean and quiet, with all the standard facilities I needed. The location was very convenient, just minutes away from a tram stop that took me directly into the city centre, the Arena area, and Meadowhall. Plus, there were supermarkets nearby like Aldi, Home Bargains, and Tesco. The breakfast was wonderful, and the owners even made a special gluten-free full breakfast for me before I left at 7.00am. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the tram line made it easy for me to explore both the city centre and the beautiful Sheffield and Tinsley canal.

I recently stayed at the Hillsborough Hotel for a couple of nights to attend an Arctic Monkeys concert at the nearby arena. The twin room overlooking the Rivelin valley was clean, up to date, and perfect for me and my daughter. The friendly staff greeted us with smiles and great local knowledge. The bar had a good selection of ales, and the fish and chips were delicious. The cooked breakfast was top-notch, with the best sausages I've had in ages. excellent value for money with clean rooms, great food, and friendly service.

Stayed here for one night on a lads trip to Sheffield for the dog racing. Perfect location with racing pub downstairs and other pubs along the way. Polite staff, good breakfast, clean rooms, and great value for money. Would recommend this hotel.
