Hillside Hotel in Dunbar provided a fantastic value for our stay. The prices were reasonable and the attention to detail was evident throughout. We loved the location in a residential area, offering a peaceful and serene ambiance. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service. The basic amenities were all there, and the rooms were comfortable with a great window showcasing a breathtaking coastal view. The highlight was definitely the breakfast, which was delicious and satisfying.

Best aspects of the hotel were the impeccable cleanliness and the breathtaking views of the sea from our room. The staff was also very courteous and helpful, providing us with directions and advice. The breakfast was cooked to perfection and the bed was incredibly comfortable, making it hard to leave in the morning.

The sea view from Room 17 was absolutely stunning, jaw-dropping even! The room itself was gorgeous, spacious, and had a modern shower room. And let's not forget the fantastic dessert options at the pub! The newly renovated dining room was a great touch, and the rooms were beautifully decorated. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the historic harbor and a beach perfect for rock-pooling. The staff, including the chef, were super helpful and provided EXCELLENT service. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep, and the view of the sea was simply breathtaking. a mind-blowing experience, and I will definitely be staying here again next time!

I stayed at Hillside for a few days, and it was perfect for my visit. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful from check-in to check-out. The location was fantastic, with beautiful sea views if you're lucky. The room itself was fabulous, with a great window and a comfortable bed. I especially enjoyed the excellent bathroom and facilities. The dinner in the bar was perfect, and the breakfast was lovely, with the waiter/chef offering local tips. a great experience that I highly recommend.
