The room was comfortable with a low ceiling, but my partner and I didn't mind. We enjoyed the friendly atmosphere at the hotel bar and the amazing cooking by the chef, Dot. The breakfast, although not perfect, was plentiful and the staff were attentive. I'll recommend this hotel.

Had a wonderful stay at a charming hotel for our Ruby Wedding Anniversary. Attentive staff, delicious afternoon tea with sandwiches, scones, and teas. Lovely outdoor seating and play area for children. highly recommended for special occasions.

Value for money was excellent and the room was comfortable with a lovely view. The location was quiet and pleasing, and the staff were incredibly pleasant and helpful.

The morning meal could have been improved with better toast and a more generous portion of bacon and eggs.

As friends who enjoy going out at nights, we loved the convenient location of Hilton House. It was perfectly situated for exploring the beautiful Peak District.

Great breakfast, hot cooked meal plus cereal & juice. Bar used as local pub, adds community feel. Convenient disabled parking, hand/grab rails everywhere.

During my recent stay, I was impressed by the cleanliness of the room and the comfortable beds. The staff, particularly the young lady and young gentleman, were extremely helpful and courteous.

Although there were a few minor drawbacks, such as the outdated bathroom and the lack of a full height shower, these did not significantly detract from my overall positive experience.

The hotel has a great location halfway up a wall, which provides stunning views of the surrounding area. Additionally, the rooms are well-appointed with king size beds, ensuring a comfortable and restful stay. The breakfast served at the hotel is also worth mentioning as it is well-cooked, tasty, and offers a selection of options including vegetarian dishes. Lastly, the attentive and friendly staff make you feel welcome and are always ready to assist with any needs or queries.

The only minor downside was the bathroom facilities. Although the room had a bath, it would have been preferable to have a shower option available for those who prefer it.
