I had a fantastic stay at this charming country inn in West Berkshire. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make me feel at home. They even upgraded my room as a special birthday surprise. The room itself was spacious and full of character, with exposed beams and traditional furnishings. The modern bathroom was a pleasant surprise, with a luxurious shower and all the amenities I needed. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I had a restful night's sleep. The bar was well-stocked, and the reasonably priced drinks were a bonus. The restaurant menu had a great selection, and I thoroughly enjoyed the ham hock, egg, and chips. The staff at the restaurant were friendly and attentive, despite being busy with a large party. The breakfast the next morning was delicious, with a variety of hot and cold options. I had a wonderful experience at this inn and would highly recommend it.

While there were a few drawbacks during my stay, they were minor inconveniences. The location of my room on the top floor made it a bit difficult to navigate the uneven and narrow stairs with my luggage.

Had an amazing Easter getaway at a hotel in Aldermaston! the staff were so friendly and kind, making our stay unforgettable. the key location made it easy to explore the surrounding area, and the cozy rooms were a treat. the fresh milk and coffee maker in the room were a nice touch, making it even better.

That the room was a bit small, with limited storage space for our clothes. the noise from the main road outside could be bothersome at night, affecting our sleep.

The bar area is perfect for enjoying a sunny afternoon with its close proximity to taxi stands. It's conveniently located at a road junction, making it easily accessible to main stations like Reading. The rooms are beautifully decorated and comfortable, with room upgrades sometimes given without even asking. The staff are attentive and friendly, making the stay even more enjoyable.
