We stayed at the Holborn Hotel in Thurso for a couple of nights and it was one of our nicest stays. The annex rooms were extremely comfortable and the price was the lowest we had seen in the area. The bar and restaurant, The Red Pepper, offered amazing food at very reasonable prices. The location was perfect and the staff were wonderful. a lovely surprise and we highly recommend this hotel.

My stay at this hotel was excellent in multiple ways. the staff - Gilly, Rhys, and Tom - were exceptional. They were professional, friendly, efficient, and always ready to help. The cleanliness of the room was outstanding, and it provided a comfortable and peaceful atmosphere. The fresh and clean linen added to the overall comfort. The hotel's central location was incredibly convenient, with easy access to transportation and various amenities. The on-site restaurant was a delightful surprise, serving delicious dishes made with locally sourced produce. The breakfast served was ample and generous, cooked to order and delivered in a timely manner. Additionally, the hotel offered free cancellation and on-site parking facilities, making my stay even more convenient.

Attentive and friendly reception, perfect food, and clean visible areas. The location was great - right in the middle of town and with free parking. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet, with thick curtains to block out the light. The breakfast was very good too. I had a pleasant stay, despite a few minor issues with the room. I highly recommend this hotel for a short or long stay.

The breakfast was fantastic, especially the smoked salmon and scrambled egg. The hotel's location was great, just a short walk to the seafront. Another advantage was the restaurant in the hotel, where we enjoyed a delicious meal one night.

One major drawback was the noise level. The hotel is located on a busy street, which made it quite noisy, especially at night.

During our stay, we enjoyed the delicious breakfast and fabulous dinner at the Red Pepper restaurant, where the staff were friendly and welcoming. The location of the restaurant was convenient, and we appreciated the clean and comfortable room. The bed provided a good night's sleep, and the cleanliness of the bathroom was impressive. We also found the staff to be attentive and friendly, ensuring we were taken care of throughout our stay.

The single room was comfortable with a surprisingly spacious feel, and the shower was one of the best I've seen in such a room. a wonderful experience!

The outward appearance of the building was a bit dated, which was not very appealing. the rooms were quite small, and the lights were not well placed for using the mirrors.

The hotel is conveniently located, with free off-street parking and a restaurant that offers reasonably priced meals. The beds in the rooms are comfortable, and there are facilities for making tea and coffee. The breakfast is freshly cooked to order, ensuring a satisfying start to the day.
