Recently stayed at Holgate Manor for a weekend getaway with my family of five. The apartment was lovely and clean and had plenty of room for all of us. The location was perfect, with a bus stop just steps away for those who didn't want to walk into town. The owner was incredibly friendly and accommodating, even going above and beyond by welcoming us with a bottle of wine and chocolates. Would definitely rent again!

The location was great for us as low-budget travelers, with the option to walk into town and a nearby bus stop. The apartment was spacious, with plenty of storage and a large bathroom. The small courtyard was a nice bonus, especially in the hot weather. The apartment had a homely feel, with thoughtful extras. There was also a lovely pub opposite, and surprisingly, the apartment was quiet, even with the traffic lights nearby.

The owner was friendly and accommodating, even providing us with a bottle of wine and chocolates upon arrival. The beds were comfortable, and the bedding and towels seemed new.

The sofa bed was uncomfortable due to its old mattress with springs. The lack of curtains in the living room made it difficult to block out street lights at night.
