Good sized modern room with convenient facilities.

During my stay, I encountered several issues that dampened my experience. The breakfast options, while plentiful, weren't always stocked adequately during peak times, leaving many guests waiting. Additionally, I found the mattress on one of the beds to be quite worn, which affected my comfort level. Lastly, my shower was too hot and difficult to adjust properly, making for an uncomfortable experience overall.

I stayed for a night and appreciated the easy access to public transport. The bus stop was right outside, making it simple to explore the area. I enjoyed a decent breakfast that included pastries and hot items. The room was comfortable and had useful amenities. I especially liked that there were several local shops to browse in the neighborhood. It felt very convenient to get around without the hassle of driving. Overall, a good stay.

the shower pressure woudl ve been fantastic if it didn't go from boiling hot to ice cold every 5 seconds. also, paying for parking is so belittling, especially when the breakfast is so limited. do they even try? for a 'holiday inn express', i expected a warm welcome or complimentary treats, but alas, i just couldn't find any redeeming qualities.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, ensuring a warm atmosphere. A great spot for families and travelers alike!

Ample parking and a dog-friendly atmosphere were notable pluses. The staff provided a warm welcome, with one front desk person, Jamie, truly standing out for his helpfulness during our arrival. The breakfast, featuring a good range of options including muesli, was a delightful start to each day. However, the heating in our room struggled to keep up, leaving it uncomfortably cold, and on one morning, a fire alarm disrupted the peace without explanation. Despite these drawbacks, the overall experience had its highlights.

This hotel was a commendable fit for a walk in the evening in Edinburgh with reasonable value. The staff was very pleasant and helpful, making my stay more enjoyable. Take the frequent bus just outside for easy access to the city center.

We enjoyed our stay while exploring the city. The public buses right outside the hotel made it easy to hop into town for sightseeing. The staff was friendly, and our family appreciated the clean beds after long days. Breakfast was surprisingly nice, too!

In my wife’s opinion, a larger breakfast area would help families like ours avoid the busy rush.

The breakfast was fantastic with gluten-free options, and having an easy way to make a bacon roll was a nice touch! Unfortunately, the bathroom had issues with water pressure. I'd totally come back!

the location is great, super close to the ocean and lots of places 2 eat & drink. the staff were super friendly and the room was comfy. parking was good too, never had trouble finding a spot. breakfast was decent, had a good selection, and i appreciated the gluten free options. loved that the tram stop was just around the corner for easy access to the city!
