The parking situation can be a bit challenging at times as it is shared with neighboring cottages.

We had a wonderful stay at Holmside Cottage, the perfect base for our Lake District adventures. The location was ideal, situated opposite the charming Bower House Inn, which offered delicious food and friendly hospitality. Being in a quieter part of the Lake District provided us with the peaceful retreat we were seeking, while still being within easy reach of Eskdale, Wasdale, and Ennerdale. The cottage itself was comfortable and homely, with everything we needed and a well-equipped kitchen. The comfortable beds ensured a restful night's sleep, and we enjoyed relaxing in the lovely garden. a fantastic experience that we would happily return to.
