This hotel is in a perfect location, right on the beach with stunning views of the ocean. The rooms are comfortable and quiet, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The staff at this venue are friendly, attentive, and made my stay memorable and comfortable. The restaurant offers a great breakfast with a variety of options to choose from, including delicious freshly cooked items. The attention to detail in the room, such as the light in the bathroom that automatically comes on when you move towards the door, adds a touch of convenience. The hotel also provides amenities like a DAB radio, huge TV, bathrobes, and a Nespresso machine. The cleanliness and beautiful decor of this place were outstanding.

Located right on the beach in the lovely village of Hope Cove, the Hope & Anchor offers stunning views of the coast. The rooms are spacious and clean, with some offering picturesque sea views. The staff are friendly and attentive, providing excellent customer service. The food in the restaurant is delicious, with a variety of options to choose from.

Some guests have reported issues with the heating in their rooms, which can be a problem during colder evenings.

The breakfast room offers a stunning view over the cove. The continental breakfast is better than some you get on the continent. Dogs are welcome everywhere, making it a clean and enjoyable hotel. The location is perfect, with a cute village and lovely ocean views. The rooms are comfortable and quiet. Free parking is available outside the hotel. Great location, lively pub atmosphere, good breakfast, and very comfortable rooms.

Just returned from a delightful stay at the Hope & Anchor. The location, right on the beach in a lovely village, was perfect for walking along the coastal path. The friendly and welcoming staff made us feel relaxed and comfortable throughout our stay. The quality of the food was excellent, with a great variety of options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Our room was beautifully decorated, with a comfortable bed and all the amenities we needed. And of course, the sea view was the icing on the cake.

Our room at Hope & Anchor was nicely appointed and had a lovely view of Hope Bay. The location of the hotel was brilliant, right in the center of the picturesque Hope Cove and practically on the beach. The staff were attentive, friendly, and always willing to help. The food at the hotel was great, especially the breakfast. I had a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

I gotta say, we got a great deal on our room at Hope & Anchor. The view from our room was incredible, overlooking Outer Hope Bay. The room itself was clean, modern, and had a super comfy bed. The pub/restaurant had plenty of space, both inside and outside, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was top-notch with a wide variety to choose from. Plus, the hotel was conveniently located near some amazing coastal walks and beaches, like Inner Hope bay. And if you have a car, don't miss out on the beautiful nearby spots like Thurlstone, Bigbury on Sea, and Burgh Island.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming country retreat in the breathtaking landscape of Hop Cove. From the moment we arrived, the gentle Devon air whisked away all our worries, leaving us feeling completely relaxed. Our room was beautifully presented, with a comfortable bed and good heating to keep us warm during the freezing weather. The staff were wonderfully friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. Breakfast was a delectable treat, with well-cooked food that surpassed our expectations. We also had the opportunity to indulge in the best fish and chips we've had in a long time, served with homemade tartare sauce and a fresh squeeze of lemon. The hotel's location was truly stunning, making it worth navigating the narrow roads of Devon. we had an exceptional experience and would highly recommend this hotel for a blissful getaway.

Had a decent sized room with modern amenities. the location was ideal, close to the beach and city center. Breakfast tasted great and was served promptly.

The price was too high for the experience, and the staff were not very friendly or helpful. the room was not as clean as it should have been, and the noise level made it hard to get a good night’s sleep.
