I recently stayed at Hornsbury Mill for a wedding reception and had a fantastic experience. The staff, particularly Bev and Rachel, were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious, with high-quality sausages and bacon. The slow-cooked roast beef for the meal was melt-in-the-mouth tender, and the desserts were incredible. The grounds of the hotel were picturesque, and ample parking was available. The bar offered a great selection of ciders and other drinks. I would love to stay here again.

I recently stayed at Hornsbury Mill for a short time and it was perfect! The staff were lovely and the bed was so comfy. The restaurant and bar were excellent, with a reasonably priced menu. The highlight was definitely the food, cooked by an amazing chef. The blueberry pancakes and egg Florentine at breakfast were superb. Do go and eat there!

My three-day break at Hornsbury Mill was simply fabulous! I was pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a suite with a beautiful and comfy bed. The room was spotlessly clean and had all the usual extras like tea, coffee, shampoo, and shower gel. The staff were all lovely, attentive, friendly, and welcoming. The restaurant served delicious, home-cooked food with a great varied menu and generous portions. The breakfast was fantastic, offering practically everything you could want. The hotel is set in a stunning and peaceful location, surrounded by ducks, geese, and peacocks. The grounds were perfect for relaxation, especially sitting by the pond. I highly recommend this hotel if you're staying in the area, close to Lyme Regis and the gorgeous Jurassic coast. I had a special and memorable break at Hornsbury Mill.

hornsbury mill exceeded our expectations once again. the staff made us feel welcome and went out of their way to accommodate our requests. the beautiful gardens, excellent food, and convenient location made our short stay truly enjoyable.

Room was a bit small.

The location was perfect for exploring the city. We were within walking distance to all the major attractions and the view of the river from our room was stunning. the staff were friendly and helpful, offering suggestions for local restaurants and providing us with a map of the area. the breakfast was decent, with a variety of options and fresh coffee.

The room was not up to par. It was small and outdated with questionable cleanliness.

The location was perfect, right across the centre of the room next village, providing a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere away from the coast. The room was comfortable and clean, with beautiful views of the lake. The staff were exceptional, providing a warm welcome and going the extra mile to ensure a pleasant stay. The breakfast was delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from, including a fresh fruit salad that was exceptionally good.

One small downside was the limited phone signal in the area, but the strong wifi made up for it.

One drawback of the hotel is that mobile phone reception in the area is poor, but they do provide Wi-Fi for guests to use. Additionally, weekends during the summer months may be scarce due to the high number of weddings hosted at the hotel.

The rooms were very clean and tidy, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The service was top-notch with friendly and efficient staff who were always there to help. They even moved me to the biggest room when they saw how tall I was! The amenities provided in the room were perfect, including heating, soundproofed rooms, and garden furniture. I was highly impressed with the quality and comfort this hotel offered.
