We had an amazing experience at a charming inn. the staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, even providing us with an extra fan on a hot night. the room was spotless and the bed linen of excellent quality. the highlight was the landlady giving us chilled water bottles to take with us on a scorching day. the attention to detail was greatly appreciated, making us feel well taken care of.

Our experience during the Christmas period was less than desirable. the pub was extremely busy and understaffed, resulting in slow service and long wait times for food and drinks.

We had a fantastic stay at Horse And Groom Inn. The pub had a charming atmosphere and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The menu for dinner was extensive and the nightly specials were a treat. Breakfast, although continental, was delicious. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the area was peaceful at night. I highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant and enjoyable stay.

What a wonderful stay! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and friendliness. the room was lovely, spacious, and impeccably clean. I especially loved the large bathroom and the dimmer switch on the big light - such a brilliant touch! the fish and chip supper was absolutely delicious, and I had a great night's sleep on the comfortable bed. I also enjoyed the buffet breakfast in the morning - a fantastic start to the day!

While my overall experience was fantastic, there were a couple of minor downsides. the bathroom could have been a bit bigger, and there was a strange smell in the wardrobe where I hung my jacket.

stayed in banbury before, but horse & groom inn blew me away. lovely room, spacious with a great bathroom. views were gorgeous, overlooking fields. staff were friendly & in-room tea/coffee was a nice touch. breakfast was tasty & fresh. exceeded expectations!
