Loved the location of this place, so handy to the Lake District and nestled amidst beautiful trees. The old buildings added a touch of charm to the whole experience.

The lack of music or a radio in the cottage was a disappointment. It made the atmosphere a bit too quiet for our liking.

Stunning views, activities galore, lovely terrace, free parking, entertainment options, helpful hosts. Towels cost extra, but who needs towels when you have all this fun?

Just loved when dogs from other cottages roamed freely, disrupting my dogs. Such a delightful surprise!

This secluded cottage in the Lake District offers a peaceful retreat amidst beautiful surroundings. Guests loved the old buildings and the big trees on the property. The location is convenient for exploring the Lake District, with easy access to the lakes. The hosts are welcoming and obliging, offering comfortable accommodation with top-quality furniture and kitchen utensils. The views from the cottage are spectacular, and there are toys for children to play with. It provides excellent value compared to nearby alternatives.

Some guests felt that other visitors not following the rules regarding keeping dogs on a leash disrupted their stay.

Stayed for a week in February and wow! What a beautiful gem! The location was idyllic with stunning surrounding views. Lots of local walks for the dog and kids. A fantastic escape from the hustle and bustle, yet conveniently close to nearby towns. Accommodation was clean, tidy, and cozy, feeling like home. Glorious weather, but the games room would have entertained us even if it rained. The hosts were fantastic, friendly, and helpful with advice on activities and walks nearby.

Strongly recommend this hotel.
