Our stay at Humphries Cross was excellent value for money. The room was spacious, clean, and had a lovely view of the garden. The location was idyllic, with easy access to the village and nearby footpaths. The staff, especially Stuart and Lucy, were welcoming and helpful throughout our stay.

The breakfast offerings could be improved with a wider selection.

Lovely hosts and a great place for a weekend break! The apartment was spotlessly clean and the location was lovely with lots of walks nearby. Welcome pack was gratefully received. Near to a charming town but an escape from the busy streets. We were lucky enough to have perfect weather. Didn’t want to go home!

If we had to provide a negative comment it would be the narrow stairs to the first floor, although it wasn't a problem for us.

We had a fantastic stay at Humphries Cross! The location was absolutely stunning, surrounded by acres of countryside to explore. We loved waking up to the sight of rabbits hopping around, just like in Watership Down! The split-level loft apartment was beautiful and well-designed. The bedroom on the lower floor had a lovely ensuite bathroom, and the upstairs area provided a cozy sleeping space with great lighting and plenty of plug sockets. The hosts, Stuart and Lucy, were incredibly helpful and even provided a welcome basket with all the necessities. We felt right at home and will definitely be returning to Humphries Cross!

The location was beautiful and relaxing, making it easy for us as trekkers and a group of friends to explore Kent. The Retreat apartment was well-designed and cosy, instantly making us feel at home. The hosts provided the best welcome gift box, including eggs, butter, bread, and even bubbly for my mother's birthday. The garden was a great place to unwind and enjoy a drink.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Humphries Cross! The location was idyllic, surrounded by peaceful countryside, and waking up to rabbits outside our window was a charming touch. The apartment itself was spacious, clean, and beautifully furnished, with a view overlooking the stunning garden. The welcome basket was a thoughtful gesture that made us feel truly welcomed. We also appreciated the proximity to The Bell at Iden, a welcoming pub just a short walk away. we cannot recommend Humphries Cross enough for a peaceful and comfortable getaway.

Although the double bed was comfortable, it was a bit too small for our liking. Additionally, the internet signal was a bit slow, but given the tranquil location, we didn't mind disconnecting for a while.

He met us on the drive as we arrived and gave us useful information about the apartment, grounds, and local area. the apartment was clean with lovely garden views and a comfortable bed. We had a great welcome pack and everything provided to make our stay enjoyable. Stuart gave us ideas to make the most of our short stay. We would definitely recommend this accommodation and hope to return in the future.
