Perfect for us elders to relax and chat. the common areas were easily accessible, with wide hallways and comfortable seating for taking breaks. A true haven for senior folk like me looking for peace and tranquility.

Perhaps a tad more assistance from the young staff would have been appreciated.

With the weather changing for the better we found a room at Hunters Lodge Cornworthy with 3 days notice. Grahame and Sue were exceptional hosts, providing helpful information on local attractions. The pub offered homemade cooking above the normal pub standard, as well as well-kept real ales. The room was clean, quiet, and well decorated, with nice amenities like a small fridge and tea/coffee facilities. a delightful and peaceful stay with welcoming hosts.

The narrow roads were easily navigable with lots of passing places.

We were able to easily reach the coast within a short drive and there were several other seaside resorts within an hour's distance. It was also nice that the hotel was situated in a quiet area, away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
